Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Natasha Foote Creative collects, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We've tried to keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are

Natasha Foote Creative Limited ("we", "us") is a New Zealand company. We run natashafootecreative.com, our free and paid memberships, our email newsletters, and our classes and digital downloads.

We are bound by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Wherever you live, we treat your information to that standard, and we'll respect the rights you have under your own country's privacy laws.

Privacy officer

Our privacy officer is Hunter Wight. You can contact him about anything in this policy at hello@help.natashafootecreative.com.

What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Your name and email address when you subscribe, join as a member, or buy a gift subscription
  • Your membership tier and subscription history
  • Payment details, which are handled by Stripe. We see the payment status, amount, and your card's brand and last four digits, but never your full card number
  • Comments you post on the website, and messages you send us by email or social media
  • Anything you choose to share in surveys, feedback, giveaways or competitions

Information collected automatically:

  • Which emails you open and which links you click
  • Which pages you visit, how you got to the site, and your general location, such as your country
  • Your device type, browser and operating system

Information we get from other people:

Sometimes we get information about you from someone else. For example:

  • When someone buys you a gift subscription, they give us your name and email address so we can send it to you
  • Our payment and download providers (Stripe and Gumroad) tell us when you've bought something
  • If you mention or tag us on social media, we can see your public profile and post

When this happens, we use the information only for the reason it was given to us, and this policy tells you what we do with it.

How we use it

  • To run your membership: logging you in, giving you access to the content you've paid for, and processing payments
  • To send you emails you've signed up for, including newsletters, new video alerts and class updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link
  • To answer your questions and help with problems
  • To understand which videos, classes and pages are popular, so we can make more of what you enjoy
  • To run giveaways and competitions you've entered
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud
  • To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping financial records

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Like many small businesses, we use AI tools such as Claude to help with everyday work like writing and admin. We don't allow your information to be used to train AI models, and our team stays responsible for everything we send you.

Where your information is stored

Our website runs on a server in New York, and most of our other providers are based in the United States or Europe, so your information will be stored and processed outside New Zealand. We choose providers with strong security and privacy protections, and they are only allowed to use your information to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're a subscriber or member. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your details, we'll delete them within 90 days. We keep financial records, such as payment history, for 7 years because New Zealand tax law requires it.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable providers with strong security, limit access to the people who need it, and use secure connections across our website. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private too.

Children

Our website and memberships are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's wrong or out of date
  • Delete your information
  • Give you a copy of your information in a format you can take elsewhere
  • Stop sending you marketing emails (or just use the unsubscribe link in any email)

Email hello@help.natashafootecreative.com and we'll reply within 20 working days. There's no charge. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. If we can't resolve it, you can complain to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner. If you live overseas, you can also contact your local privacy regulator, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your country's data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if anything changes, and change the date at the top. If it's a significant change, we'll let members know by email.
